He cannot get down and somebody gets the group to chant his name to offer him confidence. The Fascist city council hears this and believes that he’s the town’s new leader. They surrender to him and create him the new civil authority. He rises to the occasion and once he finds that the Germans decide to occupy his city and take their wine (over 1,000,000 bottles) he’s employed out a concept to cover it.
