As she leaves the charity hospital and passes a church wedding, Edna deposits her new baby with a pleading note in a very auto and bangs to kill. The automobile is taken by thieves UN agency dump the baby by a wastebin. Charlie the Tramp finds the baby and makes a home for him. 5 years later Edna has become Associate in Nursing singer however will charity work for slum kids in hope of finding her boy. A doctor referred to as by Edna discovers the note with the reality concerning the child and reports it to the authorities UN agency come back to require him faraway from Charlie. Before he arrives at the Orphan Asylum Charlie steals him back and takes him to a rooming house. The owner reads of an award for the child and takes him to Edna.
