Movie Brief: Watch Saving Mr. Banks 2013 On ZMovie Online:When Walt Disney’s daughters pleaded him to make a movie of their favorite book, P.L. Travers’ “Mary Poppins,” he made them a pledge – one that he didn’t realize would take 20 years to hold. In his quest to obtain the privileges, Walt arrives up against a curmudgeonly, uncompromising writer who has wholeheartedly no aim of letting her beloved magical nanny get mauled by the Hollywood appliance. But, as the publications stop trading and money grows short, Travers reluctantly agrees to proceed to Los Angeles to discover Disney’s designs for the adaptation. For those two short weeks in 1961, Walt Disney drags out all the stops. equipped with imaginative storyboards and chirpy pieces of music from the gifted Sherman male siblings, Walt launches an all-out attack on P.L. Travers, but the prickly author doesn’t budge. He shortly starts to watch helplessly as Travers becomes progressively immovable and the privileges start to move further away from his grasp.
