ocumentary film-maker Bob Saunders and his woman Carol attend a cluster medical aid session that serves as the backcloth for the gap scenes of the film. Returning to their l. a. home, the recently “enlightened” couple castigate their nearest friends, Ted and Alice, for not returning to grips with their true feelings. Bob insists that everybody “feel” instead of intellectualize their emotions, and Carol pronounces “that’s beautiful” when anyone says something even remotely personal. Ted and Alice humor their friends, however it’s obvious that there’s a good-tempered sexual tension at work among the foursome.
