It’s simple to portray pirates as angry like they did in “Captain Phillips”. It’s a lot tougher to back what the absolute adventure abaft their agony is. This documentary tries that, with touches of affection filmmaking. We accept activated sequences and we accept abounding sequences that feel staged rather than just accident at that exact moment. But the cine still is able to get us into that place.
